Board Fellow Liaisons

Approved by the NNECOS Board of Directors in July of 2016, the NNECOS Fellow Board Liaison positions are two-year, non-voting seats on the Board of Directors, providing representation to the fellowship programs in Northern New England. Fellow liaisons participate in board meetings/teleconferences, on NNECOS committees, and facilitate/promote membership and engagement among their peers.

Term 7/2018 - 6/2020

Victoria is a third year Hematology/Oncology Fellow at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. She was elected to the NNECOS Board in 2018 as the Fellow Liaison and has worked to expand the educational opportunities for the Dartmouth and UVM Fellows. She has an avid interest in global health, education, and patient advocacy. This March, she will return to Rwanda to care for patients and teach at the Butaro Cancer Center of Excellence. Her collaborative work with Dr. Mary Chamberlin, Dartmouth researchers, and physicians from Rwanda examining methylation patterns in breast cancer patients from Rwanda was presented at the NNECOS Annual Meeting this fall. Last year, she participated in the American Society of Hematology’s Advocacy Leadership Institute and is a member of their Grassroots Organization. She will join the Consortium of Universities for Global Health's advocacy team for Global Health Day on Capitol Hill this month. She looks forward to leading an educational project using Project ECHO’s teleconferencing platform to target topics needed by the Fellows at Dartmouth, UVM, and other Northern New England Fellowship programs.
