Thank you for your interest in volunteering! NNECOS currently seeks volunteers for NNECOS Task Forces and Onsite Event Support. Your active participation will help promote quality cancer care for the citizens of Northern New England.

NNECOS Task Forces

Participating in a NNECOS Task Force is a great way to get more involved with your society, working with colleagues from across our three states to promote the highest quality care for patients with cancer and blood disorders in our region. Opportunities are available in the following areas:

The Advocacy Task Force responds to and, as appropriate, recommends action on legislative and public policy initiatives. Members participate in ASCO Hill Day. Learn more.

The Annual Meeting Task Force constructs the agenda, coordinates with speakers, and facilitates member participation in NNECOS’s signature event. Learn more.

The Educational Program Grant Task Force administers funding for education programs that benefit NNECOS members and the broader oncology community. Learn more.

The Lunchtime Webinars Task Force reviews, constructs, and manages the content of NNECOS Lunchtime Best Oncology Practice Series. Learn more.

The Member Engagement/Relationships Task Force designs, oversees, and evaluates initiatives to strengthen member engagement with NNECOS. Learn more.

The OCN Review Course Task Force constructs the agenda, coordinates with speakers, and facilitates member participation in the NNECOS OCN Review Course. Learn more.

The Philanthropy Task Force annually administers the NNECOS philanthropy program to fund philanthropic activities that will improve the lives of the Northern New England oncology community and its patients. Learn more.

The Spring Meeting Task Force constructs the agenda, liaises with speakers, and facilitates Board member participation in NNECOS’s Spring Meeting. Learn more.

Onsite Event Support

Volunteering to assist at an in-person event is a great way to get more involved with NNECOS. Volunteer opportunities may be available at the following events:
