ASCO's inaugural Quality Care Symposium (November 30-December 1, 2012 in San Diego, California) will bring together practicing physicians, researchers, health system administrators, and patient advocates to share strategies and methods for measuring and improving the quality of cancer care.

This exciting new ASCO conference is the first ever meeting focused exclusively on oncology outcomes. The goal is to promote innovation and strategic planning in this expanding field of health services research. The meeting will explore ways to engage patients in quality improvement activities, eliminate disparities in quality improvement reporting, and optimize comparative effectiveness research. The two-day Symposium will feature didactic educational sessions, panel discussions, oral abstract sessions, and poster sessions.
